Sunshine Linen Services Pty Limited is a 100% Australian company wholly owned by Elisabeth Herz and Robert Herz. We are committed to the consistent delivery of service and quality and take pride in all that we do.

Sunshine History

Sunshine Laundry was purchased in 1993 by Elisabeth and Robert Herz. Although the original business was long established and well-known, it had sadly lost momentum over the years and was on the brink of closure, consisting of only a single ironer and very small washing capacity.

With dedication and sound management, the business was invigorated. It has since gone from strength to strength, growing in scale, capability and reputation. The successful transformation of the company can be attributed to a committed policy of constant improvement in quality and service.

In 1999 Sunshine Laundry purchased a competitor with Dry Cleaning operations (Silver Star Laundry and Dry Cleaning). New premises were purchased and the two businesses were combined. It was at this point that the company name was changed to Sunshine Linen Services, reflecting the expanded capabilities.

The 2000 Sydney Olympics proved to be a turning point for Sunshine. Amidst a gruelling schedule over a concentrated period of time, Sunshine supplied table linen for every Olympic venue without a hitch. Supplying table linen for the largest event in Sydney ’s history gave the company a boost of confidence that propelled them further forward.

Where We Are Today

Sunshine Linen Services offers outstanding quality and service and unbeatable overall value. Our focus today is to supply a complete range of linen services to our valued customers which include major government institutions, major hotels, fine restaurants, clubs, caterers, our many old friends and customers who have supported us since the beginning.

We are currently undertaking an ambitious program which will increase our capabilities, improve our quality and introduce “World’s Best Practice” technologies in the field of water and energy efficiency. This program will strengthen us and allow us to do even more for our customers. Our customers will have the added confidence of knowing that our services are environmentally friendly and continue with the highest level of quality into the future.
